Hi all,

I am experienced the following issue.

An external system calls SAP ECC 6.0 through some web services. The error that arise is "Virtual Interface not found".

This kinf of problem is not detected in every environment (i.e. not detected in Unit test environment/detected in Integration test environment).

We suspect there's some customization that need to be done.

Reading the wiki's about this issue, we are supposed to follow the steps:

--> SE80 --> Edit Object --> Enterprice Services --> click on Virtual Interface radio button.

In our system there's not a radio button with "Virtual Interface" label .

Any suggestions?

BW on HANA :  Pre Database Copy and Post data base copy activity list, Pre Migration and Post Migration activity list from SAP BW 7.0 to SAP BW 7.4 SPS6.

We are trying to copy database from SAP BW7.0 to SAP BW on HANA 7.4 SPS6 so we are in search for list of steps or activities during database copy both pre and post steps.

Along with the above we are in search of Pre and post migration steps ones database is transferred successfully from oracle to HANA on 7.4 SPS6.

Kindly help us in getting the exact course of action as requested.

We are on a project with parts on R/3 4.6C and parts on MI (6.40).

There several custom developments, all of them with logging in the "application log" (aka SBAL or as txn SLG1).

Could we raise an alarm / send a msg to the operating staff / application owner when "red" items show up in the application log?

Can this be done directly, via CCMS or even via SolMan?

We've created the HTTP connection on Portal FP_ICF_DATA_ECQ which results "Ping not successful! Received HTTP response 404" (which i believe is fine).

We've created the ABAP conneciton ADS which results in "405 method not allowed" (this same message works with adobe on one server but fails on this).

Credentials have been deployed on server and added as ReaderRights on Portal.

Roles and authorizations have been granted as per SAP (ADSCALLER and Administrator for ADSUSER on Portal) and (

From ALV grid I am trying to downlaod the report in XLSX format in Windows 2007. In "Select Spreadsheet" I choose option: "10-Excel (in office 2007 XLSX format), subsequently another dialog "Save as" is displayed. Here "Save as type" is deafulted as "XML file nm. (*.xls) and in the dorpdown no other options are displayed.

Now how to default "XLSX" in "Save as Type" field of dialog box: :Save as?

My basis componenet release - 7.02.

Highest support package - SAPKB70207.

I have digged deeper in the google, SDN browser & SAP marketplace but in vain.

Hello all,

Please help , in resolving the issue with Performance Management Application "Appraisal Documents" getting Blanks Screen on the routing back from "Appraisal Document" after user close the application. Issue is only applicable in 'HTTPs' and work fine in internal network.

On HTTP Watch : "ERROR_HTTP_INVALID_SERVER_RESPONSE" in the trace.

Steps to replicate :

1. User click on the "Appraisal Documents" link on the Area page and open the application on the new window.

2. User select one of the "Appraisal document" from the list available to work on it , which result in another window.

3. User close the application after finishing the work on the "Appraisal Document" and return on the Parent window "Appraisal Documents".

4. At this point "Appraisal Documents " window get refresh and every things looks great.

5. Now if user want to select another appraisal document to work on it in "Appraisal documents" window, it freeze or give blank screen.

Is it possible to stop
direct access of FB01 to user but at the same time when FB01 is called through
another transaction like FF_5 then it  should be accessible. While
uploading the bank statement through FF_5 transaction code it goes through the
FB01. So when the FB01 is removed from role the bank statement cannot be
uploaded. We do not want to give direct access of FB01 to user but at the same
time bank statement should be uploaded from FF_5.

Dear all,

I just installed an empty SAP ERP 6.0 with EhP7 on Nteweaver 7.4 ABAP Application Server using a SAP HANA Database.

The application server is installed on Windows 2012 Server.

Hana Software is SPS6 rev 66. Client version on Hana appliance and AS is rev 66.

I am surprised to see that technical operations like language installation or client copy are taking a long time compared to a MaxDB or Oracle database.

I'm used to getting a client copied in 20 to 30 minutes, here on Hana it takes 1h30.

I really think the problem comes from the application server because of the poor load (near 10% cpu is used...), and everything is running smoothly on Hana Appliance (backup of the 100 GB database in 4 minutes). But I can't find anything is the workprocess logs. No dump. Nothing in syslog.

Does anybody else is experiencing such performance issue? Is that normal? Maybe a Windows 2012 problem?

Dear Team,

I am in very awakard. I have one ESS system configured with SAP Netwever 7 Ehp1. with Backend System SAP ERP 6.0 Ehp4.

Below are the components installed in SAP NW7 Ehp1 system for ESS.

With SAP NW701 AS JAVA, EP & EPC.

While installation of the ESS system the NW701 portal with AS JAVA, EP & EPC was installed first & then the above ESS components were installed using JSPM New Software component Option.

Now, When I tried to calculate the queue for this system for SP upgrade using Solman it does not calculate the queue for above components.

I checked the landscape with LVSM & found below warnings/Errors.

I am looking out how to get rid of this issue.

1. Can I install the XSS component on the existing ESS Portal system? If yes how to proceed?

2. I have to install fresh system using below method

Install SAP ERP 6.0 Ehp4 AS Java with XSS & EPC/EP as an Software Component & Usage Type.

Please help me resolve it.

Procedure

Download the latest add-on from the SAP Service Marketplace, Software

Download Center. For any details follow the download instructions as

described in the SAP Best Practices Quick Guide.

The Quick Guide is attached to the overview note of your SAP Best

Practices version. The number of the SAP Note can be found on the

documentation DVD in the section "Feedback & Support" -> Support

Information.

The documentation DVD is also available for online access via the SAP

Help Portal http://help.sap.com/bestpractices

In principle, that all pre-requisites was fulfilled, according to QuickGuide, SAP Notes 1301301, 1770759, 1240936, 1670121, 1706705, including

the BP-ERP_606V4_Correction_transport.zip (RT6K907188).

1) I have installed an ERP 606.

2) The support packages installed/updated to implement Baseline Best Practices was:

3) The add-ons installed to implement Baseline Best Practices was:

BP-ERP      606V4     0000      -     SAP Best Practices All-in-One (EhP6)

BP-SOLBLD     70V8     0000      -     Solution Builder on SAP NW 7.02

4) The SAP Notes implemented by SNOTE are listed below (in addition, the pre-req notes was also implemented):

5) All steps contained in the QuickGuide (BL_ERP606_Quick_Guide_EN_BR 2.doc) was made to prepare the installation of Baseline Best Practices.

6) The installation files and solution files used to install was:

- INST_FILES_BR_BP_ERP606V4.zip

- SOL_BL_ERP606_BRV1_BP_ERP606V4.zip

So, after these, I cannot implement the Baseline Best Practices Package.

Can you help me, please ?!

Hello All,

Our system was recently upgraded to EHP6.

After the upgarde ,we could notice that the Application title provided in IDR Configuration  of FPM GAF Application is appearing with step name.

For example the application title should be -  'Title of Application'

But after the upgrade it has changed to - 'Title of Application: Step -1 ( Stepname ) ' , underlined text is extra.

I was looking for a setting in IDR configurations which will result in dispalying only the Application name .

Please let me know if any one is aware of  such setting .
