We are trying to call function module in ECC6 to extract data from BW  .

in ST22, we are getting error (CALL_FUNCTION_REMOTE_ERROR) with short text :

In OS level  the elow error in dev_RFC18 ,

BW on HANA :  Pre Database Copy and Post data base copy activity list, Pre Migration and Post Migration activity list from SAP BW 7.0 to SAP BW 7.4 SPS6.

We are trying to copy database from SAP BW7.0 to SAP BW on HANA 7.4 SPS6 so we are in search for list of steps or activities during database copy both pre and post steps.

Along with the above we are in search of Pre and post migration steps ones database is transferred successfully from oracle to HANA on 7.4 SPS6.

Kindly help us in getting the exact course of action as requested.

We have configured Abobe for our environemnt as per sapnote however when executing the program FP_TEST_00 we get the error "ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.Processin(200101)"

We've created the HTTP connection on Portal FP_ICF_DATA_ECQ which results "Ping not successful! Received HTTP response 404" (which i believe is fine).

We've created the ABAP conneciton ADS which results in "405 method not allowed" (this same message works with adobe on one server but fails on this).

Credentials have been deployed on server and added as ReaderRights on Portal.

Roles and authorizations have been granted as per SAP (ADSCALLER and Administrator for ADSUSER on Portal) and (

SAP_BC_FP_ICF

SAP_BC_FPADS_ICF

SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION

SAP_S_RFCACL

SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW, for user ADS_AGENT).

Please advice where is the issue.

what netweaver consists of?

is(netweaver) it a package that contain ABAP , functional modules and bw?

is bw3 is seperate sap product?

in later versions like ecc5 or ecc6 will these comes with abap and functional modules?

if not what ecc5 and ecc6 contains?

suppose if i installed ecc6 what about bw,later i have to install bw on ecc6 or it comes with ecc6?

what is latest version of bw is it bi7 or bw 3.5?

There several custom developments, all of them with logging in the "application log" (aka SBAL or as txn SLG1).

Could we raise an alarm / send a msg to the operating staff / application owner when "red" items show up in the application log?

Can this be done directly, via CCMS or even via SolMan?

How easy is this?

I am able to find separate Language CD for "Vietnamese" but i am unable to find CDs for Bahasa or Sinhalese.

Does any one have any CD number or have performed language installation for these earlier can throw some light on same?

• I am going to install SAP Netweaver 7.0 (i.e. SAP Netweaver 7.0 Including EHp2) AS-ABAP on Oracle 11.2G Linux RHEL 5.7 Platform.
• I have gone through https://service.sap.com/PAM for checking compatibilities, and i came to know that Oracle11g(64bit),SAP Kernel 7.21 Unicode(64 bit) is compatible with RHEL 5.0.

But in the installation guide and media list of SAP Netweaver 7.0 (i.e. SAP Netweaver 7.0 Including EHp2)

I found that Oracle 10g and Linux RHEL(64 bit) are compatible with SAP Kernel 7.20 Unicode.

So should i proceed with SAP Kernel 7.20UC or 7.21UC.

Hi all,

I am experienced the following issue.

An external system calls SAP ECC 6.0 through some web services. The error that arise is "Virtual Interface not found".

This kinf of problem is not detected in every environment (i.e. not detected in Unit test environment/detected in Integration test environment).

We suspect there's some customization that need to be done.

Reading the wiki's about this issue, we are supposed to follow the steps:

--> SE80 --> Edit Object --> Enterprice Services --> click on Virtual Interface radio button.

In our system there's not a radio button with "Virtual Interface" label .

Any suggestions?

We have SAP Global Batch Traceability installed as add on in ECC.

Hence, I am expecting that the GBT functionality (ex: search batches) can be executed in NWBC if user has the role "SAP_GBT_EXPERT".

However, i see no batch information in GBT when I access GBT from NWBC.

I suspect that the integration is not complete yet.

Could you please help setting up the integration between ERP and GBT?
